parco and Ford Performance, the high-performance division of Ford Motor Company, are pleased to announce a formal relationship beginning with the North American Mustang GT3 race programme, which will run in the IMSA-sanctioned GTD Pro category.

As an ‘Official Supplier’, Sparco will provide technical race and team apparel for Ford Multimatic Motorsports’ GTD Pro programme. The agreement will have an immediate impact on the track, as the team will make its race debut at the iconic Rolex 24 At DAYTONA this weekend, which simultaneously serves as the start of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Sparco has long been a supporter of various Ford Performance programmes and the announced partnership is a continuation of a successful partnership that has lasted for decades. Ford Performance-based projects that have benefited from Sparco’s signature safety, quality and style include an extensive relationship with the FIA World Rally Championship programme run by M-Sport with the Puma Rally1 Hybrid and the equipping of the global Ford GT driver line-up.

More recently, Sparco has become a supplier to Ford Performance for special track vehicles such as the Ford GT Mk IV and the latest Mustang Dark Horse R race sports car.

Aldino Bellazzini, Sparco President and CEO:
