GRIDLIFE will take its full Festival Tour to Road America for the first time in 2024, one of five stops in an exciting coast-to-coast season for the youth-oriented music and motorsport event series.

In a live streamed announcement from the Performance Racing Industry show floor, GRIDLIFE unveiled its April to September schedule for the 2024 Festival Tour, with a return to fan favorite venues in South Carolina (Carolina Motorsports Park), Michigan (Gingerman Raceway), Connecticut (Lime Rock Park), and California (WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca) and an exciting upgrade to the Road America event.

“We’re committed to motorsport inclusion and that means putting together immersive Festival weekends that bring car culture to a wider audience,” said GRIDLIFE Co-Founder Chris Stewart. “By bringing together an authentic car culture and motorsport audience with a music festival experience, we’re able to build a younger and more diverse fanbase than you might expect to see at a racetrack. Our five marquee Festival Tour events will include the best that GRIDLIFE has to offer both on and off track, and we can’t wait to get started on 2024: Let’s shred.”

Sure to be a highlight stop is the Festival Tour weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, July 26-28. Although GRIDLIFE has previously run Club Weekends at the venue, a new partnership with track management will make it a marquee event. Road America is a classic track with a rich history dating back to the 1950s. Sometimes called America’s National Park of Speed, the facility has been host to international racing with IndyCar, IMSA, and Superbike racing. And now the third of five stops on the 2024 GRIDLIFE Festival Tour.

“GRIDLIFE’s unique blend of racing, music, and vibrant car culture aligns seamlessly with our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to our dedicated fanbase,” Road America’s President and General Manager, Mike Kertscher said.

“This partnership not only expands the diversity of our events but also enriches the overall experience, providing an immersive weekend for all. We believe that this collaboration will not only elevate the motorsports experience at Road America but also create lasting memories for enthusiasts from all walks of life,” said Kertscher.

All five GRIDLIFE Festival Tour events will include NOS Energy TrackBattle Time Attack, wheel-to-wheel GRIDLIFE Touring Cup competition, and full course freestyle drift sessions with some of the biggest names in car culture. High Performance Driving Education sessions further extend GRIDLIFE’s commitment to inclusion.

Off track, GRIDLIFE brings back its popular Concours, a curated display of vehicles from the ‘80s, ‘90s and early 2000s, the GRIDLIFE Arcade, live music stages and more. Each GRIDLIFE Festival Tour event will be livestreamed on the GRIDLIFE YouTube channel. Motorsport registration, along with single day, weekend, and camping tickets, will open for sale soon at www.grid.life.

In 2023, an expanded Festival Tour traveled coast-to-coast for the first time, bringing more than 65,000 spectators and 2,000-plus drivers out to GRIDLIFE events. Livestreams drove 3.2 million impressions over the course of the season.

On the music stage, T-Pain closed out the year at GRIDLIFE Laguna with a new song release, while a performance by Subtronics highlighted the GRIDLIFE Midwest experience. Over a decade of GRIDLIFE events, artists including Kaskade, Killer Mike, Big Boi, Waka Flocka Flame and Ludacris have hit Festival Tour stages.

“Watch this space for music lineups and star driver announcements very soon,” said Stewart.

In addition to the five-stop GRIDLIFE Festival Tour, the organization also plans six GRIDLIFE Club weekends across the United States. Structured as an elevated track day that often includes a competition element, GRIDLIFE Club weekends focus on the driver experience and offer a great entry point for enthusiasts new to track driving. In an effort to deliver more GRIDLIFE experiences to the vibrant West Coast car culture scene, two California Club weekends will combine with the season-ending GRIDLIFE Laguna event to comprise a California sub-series for competitors.
