Wild how a skyline can change virtually overnight. For those unaware, the backdrop of these shots are the remnants of what was Tustin Blimp Hangar number 2, which tragically caught fire and burnt down overnight last month. Thankfully nobody was inside at the time of the fire, so there were no injuries (or anything worse).
Built in 1942 during WWII, this hangar was the largest of its time and supported blimps, helicopters, and many other aircraft through its life.
Here we have technology and engineering of the future paying homage to the technology and engineering of the past.
