Are you an event planner or travel agent with extreme attention to detail? Rugged Radios has an exceptional opportunity for you to bring your talents to our team! We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join a team that’s dedicated to providing top-notch communication solutions for extreme environments like the Baja 1000 and the Off-Road industry.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, eager to learn, and possess a positive attitude. Our team members handle a diverse range of tasks related to events, including event travel, scheduling, and logistics.
This is an in-house position based in the San Luis Obispo / Santa Maria / Five Cities area of the Central Coast.

Coordinating schedules and travel plans for Company personnel
Booking and following up on hotel reservations and related travel arrangements
Managing event calendars and event preparation
Liaising with show promoters and Rugged staff prior to, during and after events
Processing and procuring check requests, seller permits, and insurance needs
General knowledge of the off-road industry preferred
Experience in event coordination preferred
Requirements:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in the Google Workspace suite of web apps, including email, Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Calendar
Familiarity with the Google suite of web apps, i.e. Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive and Calendar
Strong verbal and written communication skills
