Job Summary:

As we continue to dominate the aftermarket space, we are looking for a Social Media Manager with solid experience and proven success to support our Content Marketing department. This role will strategically operate and develop social media platforms – new and existing – while also producing engaging, creative content for these platforms and accounts.

Ideal candidates will possess creative skills across a wide range of mediums, from professional photography and videography equipment to mobile devices and even analog. Key competencies include organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail, staying on top of new advancements and trends, communication within both internal and external stakeholders and more.

Responsibilities:

Produce creative content for specified social media accounts: shoot visual content via photo and/or video, write captions for all posts, utilize technical practices like alt image tagging, SEO and more.
Coordinate content between social media accounts, collaborating with other social media managers if necessary.
Create schedules and timetables for social media content. Roll out content while keeping stakeholders aware of actions.
Strategize growth of the accounts and platforms. Take action to maintain, develop, and even condense accounts and content as needed.
Attend events and activations – external and internal – for coverage, reporting, production assistance and more.
Gather data and analytics for monthly progress reports. Keep stakeholders informed of updates via growth statistics, top posts, trends, industry changes, and more.
Maintain engagement on social channels by selectively interacting with audience. Provide assistance and general customer service when appropriate.
Identify, work with, network, and collaborate with opportune individuals.
Work closely alongside marketing and sales departments to meet creative wants and needs.
Work closely with marketing team for platform optimization through meetings, brainstorm sessions, strategy calls, team meets and more.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in social media, media publication, creative agency, and/or professional content creation fields.
Heightened skills in photography, videography, content creation, photo/video editing, social media and related technologies.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge with content platforms like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, social media scheduler platforms, CMS platforms, social media apps and more.
Advanced knowledge of reading data metrics and analytics. Demonstrated success with reaction and proactivity towards engagement and impressions.
Experience with supporting multiple platforms, across multiple locales and time zones.
Intermediate knowledge of office applications like Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Basecamp, Slack, Google Docs and more.
Critical thinking skills and responsive, proactive, consultative work style required
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel will vary based upon business needs and may include but are not limited to California, Utah, Colorado, Georgia, Florida and other States.
