This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that’s sufficient for completing their job remotely.

Job Summary
The Director, Sales HDFS brings about the strategies and planning initiatives that enable Harley-Davidson Financial Services to maximize value of existing markets and penetrate new markets, through all channels and develop new products and services. The Director will be a key liaison between HDFS and Dealers, representing HDFS programs, products and services to enhance the brand and the business partner relationship. This position will manage all Company sales activities personally and in coordination with the strategic direction set by the VP of North America Sales. This role will cover the Western U.S. and partner closely with the Director Sales, East.
Job Responsibilities
•    Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals. Defines, implements and tracks goal setting process and incentive compensation plan for sales force to achieve goals.

•    Through a decentralized sales staff consults and trains dealers on the use and advantages of products and services, resulting in measurable improvement in utilization.

•    Analyzes sales statistics to identify trends and direct sales force activity. Develops periodic sales reporting showing sales volumes and potential markets. Keeps Company Senior Management team apprised of trends and assists in product and pricing decision-making based on market intelligence.

•    Employs data from various Company touch points to ensure products are aligned with Company sales channels.

•    Delivers sales market intelligence to cross functional work teams.

Bachelor’s Degree Required
Education Specifications
Master’s Degree is Preferred
Experience Requirements
•    Typically requires a minimum of 12 years related experience. Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
•    Minimum of 3 years experience managing a sales force in a financial services environment that markets products and service to consumers and business required.
•    Minimum of 5 years of account management experience working in a dealer and OEM environment required.
•    Demonstrate a record of design sales strategies, managing a sales force and achieving plan results.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
