The Consumer Replacement Tire Channel Marketing team is responsible for driving channel and customer growth through marketing leadership and partnership with our key customers. A key role on the team, the Channel Marketing Manager leads marketing initiatives for the Independent, Wholesale, Car Dealer, and Ecommerce Channel. This position collaborates closely with Sales teammates and customers to develop and execute marketing programs and promotions that drive profitable growth for Bridgestone.

Develop and execute marketing plans, promotions, and programs to drive sales of Bridgestone and Firestone consumer replacement tires in the Independent, Wholesale, Car Dealer, and Ecommerce Channel
Build collaborative partnerships with key Sales (leadership and Field Sales) and customer stakeholders to lead and execute customer specific programs
Integrate with Product Marketing and the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) to develop and execute marketing programs and support the results in a consistent customer and consumer experience across all touchpoints
Lead agency and vendor relationships to deliver programs through strong project management, budgeting, and creative briefs from ideation through execution
Maintain and evolve BridgestoneMarketing.com (Dealer portal); plan and activate marketing campaigns, and drive site enhancements/optimization
Lead execution and management of Pole Position and Co-op programs leveraged by the Independent/Dealer Channel, including leading agency partners administering programs
Complete analysis of program activation and post-program effectiveness
Manage budget for all Independent, Wholesale, Car Dealer, and Ecommerce Channel marketing initiatives and support ROY and analysis
Leverage market intelligence to identify trends, competitive threats and opportunities for growth
What the Candidate can expect to gain from this role:

In the first month: You will understand Bridgestone’s North Star and E8 vision and how your role and our team help deliver on that vision; you will fully onboard to our team, the cross-functional team, and agency partners with whom you’ll work regularly.
In the first 90 days: You will transition to complete ownership of our channel marketing programs to drive sell out for the Channel, including customized promotions and marketing support, Co-op, and Pole Position programs.
In the first 6 months: You will become a go to resource for our Sales teammates in the field responsible in your channel; you will be a leader for our agencies and vendors; you will lead 2024 annual business planning for the assigned Channel. You will also have an Individual Development Plan focused on your development as a marketer and business leader.
Ongoing: You will be on a team with a vision to be the destination and launching pad for Marketers and business leaders within Bridgestone through a culture of coaching, development and engagement. We look forward to investing in you!
Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus)
Minimum of 5-8 years total Brand Management, Channel or Shopper Marketing, or Sales experience that includes working directly with franchises/retailers/dealers
Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams, preferably in large matrix organizations
Demonstrates a bias for action in all areas of work; shows commitment to accountability and ownership of work
Manages through ambiguity and demonstrates an innovative approach to solving problems
Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communicator, both oral and written
Familiarity with business analytics tools (Salesforce, Tableau, etc.)
