What Sales Manager will do:
· New Business Development – identify, pursue, negotiate, develop, and implement plan with new accounts.
· Competitive Awareness – understand competitors, their offerings (products & services), and develop counter measures.
· Development of the Aftermarket long term strategy and implementation of an action plan to secure the strategic plan short-term and mid-term.
· Strong engagement with external sales force and customer facing departments, ensure new product opportunities are identified, and developed with a thorough understanding of end user and dealer channel requirements.
· Collect and analyze sales data and trends.
· Provide input for forecasting, sales tracking, and other business metrics as required.
· Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.
· Customer development plans to support sustainable growth.
· Work closely with senior management in sales and marketing to develop account strategies and tactics.
· Expected to establish and maintain close interaction with all other sales teams, marketing, and customer experience departments to create programs, achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals.
· Collaborate with various departments to engage in voice of customer events and information. Identify and capture additional opportunities that may exist with or around a core product during its life cycle.
· Attend and work trade shows and events.
· Works with management on aftermarket product growth strategies and development initiatives.
What You Bring to the Team:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· 3+ years of management experience.
· 2+ years of relevant sales experience. Automotive Aftermarket a plus.
· Must possess strong written and oral communication with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences both face-to-face and through other communication channels.
· Ability to identify and understand complex issues, analyze, and compare data, and draw conclusions because of the analysis.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on in the operation.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities to complete individual and group tasks.
· Demonstrated success in sales and territory management.
· Ability to travel up to 25%
